I had a good session, getting a full afternoon free for the first time in
ages. I arrived after the early wind had just faded so no-one was sailing!
Rigged 5.5m and pumped out there, wind filled in and it was just right from
there on. Waves were still pretty decent, some steep ramps lined up.
Unfortunately my rib was hurting too much to put any major pressure on my
right arm, cant even burp without pain! So paused for some ibuprofen, which
did kick in eventually. Took my pain away from the crowd and sailed the
peaky waves downwind at Ferry Road. It was a bit more onshore than
yesterday so still good clean rides but it cost you dear on the upwind leg,
but it was worth it.
